Our mission is to accelerate medical innovation and we do this by assisting inventors interested in commercializing their ideas. To us, success means increasing the chances of a technology developed at USC being translated into a product that has beneficial and broad societal impact in the world of healthcare.

Some of the areas that we currently focus on are the medical needs of the elderly, patients with skin diseases or individuals needing technologies to manage heart problems. We also provide help to inventors trying to find better solutions for various medical conditions such as diabetes, womens health issues, and physical disabilities.

AMI sponsors the Mann Innovation Fellowships in the Viterbi School of Engineering, which supports the research of doctoral candidates.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
