Cardiac Output Monitor
AMI's Cardiac Output Monitor and Blood Volume Measurement System has multiple applications in the clinical setting with a potential market above one billion dollars. This minimally invasive procedure allows the use of this system in clinical settings, such as the emergency room, where other technological solutions are not available.
The Cardiac Output System combines a well-established technique for cardiac output measurement with modern optical technology for simultaneous, minimally invasive monitoring of cardiac output and circulating blood volume in a simple and straightforward manner that can be applied to adult and pediatric patients.
Our medical invention reports absolute amount of blood volume in the patient and absolute cardiac output. The solution is minimally invasive and self calibrating.
The technology is being tested in clinical trials as a mean to better manage hypotension of hemodialysis patients.
This technology finds also great value in the critical care setting for management.
This technology has been incubated since 2002 by AMI and AMI is ready to license this technology. For more information, contact Nathalie Gosset, Head of Marketing and Business Development at 213-821-1339 or email her.
